Covered parking is available in a ramp located off Front St., just south of the museum's main entrance. Generally, Museum guests will receive half-off parking with paid admission on weekdays. When large crowds are expected, the museum will make additional temporary parking available to ensure quick and easy access to and from the museum. Evenings and weekend parking is $5.
Open Monday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Stop at the Museum gift shop as you exit! Take home a memento of your visit including Michigan artisan gifts and a large selection of books and toys for children of all ages.
The Public Museum is accessible for all visitors. The museum includes a main elevator, allowing guests to access all floors of the facility. Wheelchairs are available, free of charge, from the front desk on a first come, first serve basis.
Museum visitors may take personal photographs or video for private/noncommercial use throughout most areas of the Museum by paying general admission. Personal photography or video is not allowed:
