Activities:

Make a Fossil:  Make a lasting “imprint” of the Dinosaurs Unearthed experience by creating your own fossil.  A variety of prehistoric animals and other creatures are available for junior paleontologists to create and experiment with.

Create your own Trilobite:  One of Michigan’s oldest animals, the trilobite, provides evidence that the place we live in was once under an ocean.   Look at real trilobite fossils for inspiration and create your own “butterfly of the sea.”

Make a fossil print:  Make a prehistoric setting for your unearthed dinosaurs and fossils to call home.  Let your imagination run wild by using fossil rubbing plates to create unique, one of a kind dino landscapes.
