Based on the 2006 and 2009 movies, Night at Your Museum will include Medieval knights dueling with swords, Native American performances of ceremonial dances in full regalia, and Civil War soldiers reenacting skirmishes. The Spillman Carousel will whirl to life throughout the evening, and guests can catch one of five Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ concerts.
Guests will receive a souvenir flashlight and honorary security guard badge upon admittance to the dimly-lit museum. Visitors will then become part of the drama that unfolds as characters from the exhibits come to life on all three floors of the museum.
Tickets are $20 per person, and include dinner. Proceeds benefit programs and exhibitions at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Get you ticket early, as this event often is a sell out!
